Vivo X7 & X7 Plus With 16-Megapixel Front Camera Launched

Vivo has launched two new selfie-centric smartphones in China. Vivo X7 and X7 Plus which seem to be like a copy of Oppo’s F1 series. They were dubbed as the best camera-centric smartphones in the market.

Chinese manufacturer Vivo has launched its X7 and X7 Plus smartphones in its home country. Priced at CNY 2,498 (approximately Rs. 25,000), the Vivo X7 will go on sale in China starting July 7 while the Vivo X7 Plus will be available starting July 15. The company will be announcing the pricing for the X7 Plus at the time of local release. Both the smartphones will be available in Gold and Rose Gold colours.
The Vivo X7 and X7 Plus come with a lot of identical features such as unibody metal design and 16-megapixel front camera, which is also highlight of both the devices. The front cameras are also accompanied by an LED flash. The handsets also sport a fingerprint scanner, which is embedded into the physical home button, and 4GB of RAM. Under the hood, both the X7 and X7 Plus are powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) processor clocked at 1.8GHz. and come with 64GB inbuilt storage.


For specifications, the dual-SIM Vivo X7 features a 5.2-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD Super Amoled 2.5D display and run Funtouch OS 2.5.1 which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. The X7 sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF (phase detection auto focus).

The Vivo X7 Plus, on the other hand, features a 5.7-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD Super AMOLED 2.5D display. The company listing confirms there will a 128GB inbuilt storage model.

As far as camera is concerned, Vivo X7 and X7 Plus feature a 16MP front camera like Oppo F1 Plus. Vivo X7 gets a 13MP rear camera while X7 Plus has a 16MP rear shooter.

VIVO was also the official partners of IPL-2016, which somehow tends to increase its market in India. They look to get financially set on indian market like Lenevo. Eagerly waiting for these models to launch in India soon.
